Black Soap - 100g
Our African Black Soap is a completely natural soap which has been handmade in Ghana using cocoa pod ash, coconut oil, shea butter and palm oil. Real Black Soap is not uniform black in colour rather a dark beige/yellow colour with mottled dark brown/ black sections.
Due to it's high levels of natural butters and oils it is extremely nourishing and healing to the skin. It has traditionally been used to assist with oily, blemished, bumpy, irritated, dry or acne prone skin.
Our African Black Soap is sustainably and ethically sourced direct from Ghana. Our supplier is part of the Global Shea Alliance (GSA). The GSA sustainability guidelines were developed in consultation with women’s groups, non-profit organisations, U.S. and European food and cosmetic brands, and international oils and fats suppliers. The guidelines promote women’s empowerment, decent working conditions, development of local communities, and the protection of ecosystems by outlining best business practices for all stakeholders.
