Cistus is also known as Rock Rose has a warming, soothing nature. Primarily a perfume oil where it offers a delicate, dry floral note with the depth of amber, and acts as a fixative.

Cistus is used to help regenerate slow-healing or mature skin. Highly antiseptic, it has traditionally been used for infected and inflamed skin to aid wound healing. It can also be useful for acne or boils.
