Polysorbate 20
Description
Polysorbate 20 is primarily used as a dispersant / solubliser. It is a useful ingredient to disperse essential oils and fragrances into a water base so they don't seperate, eg room sprays and spritzers.
It is stable and non-toxic used in many household, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.
Pale yellow in colour and no scent. Usually used in formulations with less than 5% oils.
Minimum recommended usage is at 1:1 ratio up to 10:1 to the oil you are trying to solubilise e.g. 1g Polysorbate 20 : 1g Oil
You may need to add more Polysorbate depending upon the oil you are working with.
