Shampoo Base

Description

Our Shampoo base is free from harsh chemicals yet lathers and cleans nicely whilst gently nourishing your hair with Coconut and Macadamia oils.  Proudly made in New Zealand.

Our DIY bases are designed to allow you to create your own bespoke skincare at home or for business.  The bases can hold up to 5% of "added extras".  For example if you were making up 100 grams of final product, you would use 95 grams of base and then add a total of 5 grams of additional ingredients (eg. carrier oils, extracts, actives, exfoliants, colour, essential oils, fragrances etc).

Example Formula:
95g DIY Base
2g   Extract
0.5-1g   Essential Oil/Fragrance (guide only please check usage maximums etc)
- Weigh out the base in a beaker/bowl
- Weigh out the additional ingredients, add to the base and mix well

PLEASE NOTEBase comes as a moblie liquid but will thicken naturally with the addition of salt (up to 3% total) if needed.

All PureNature products are intended for external use only

Please note: We cannot guarantee that PureNature bases will be compatible with every potential ingredient. Many dyes, fragrances or other additives have complex chemistry that can potentially affect the stability or function these bases. We recommend performing a small trial batch for any ingredient or combination of ingredients to determine suitability for purpose.
